It meets the NSW O ce of Fair Trading licensing requirements for refrigeration and air conditioning. Entry requirements: There are no formal educational requirements. Advanced Diploma of (NRT) Renewable Energy Engineering Course No 17904 Training Pkg Electrotechnology National Code UEE60207 Duration up to 2 years full-time, 4 years part-time Location Mount Druitt This qualification is for Electricians working in the field of Renewable Energy -- Electrical/Electronic. It provides competencies to design and validate/ evaluate renewable energy equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice/sales. Entry requirements: You must either be in relevant employment or have access to appropriate workplace to achieve the completion requirements of this course. There are no formal educational requirements; however, you should have the equivalent of four to five years of secondary school education. Certificate II (NRT) Renewable Energy Course No 17737 Training Pkg Electrotechnology National Code UEE21507 Duration 1 year full-time Location Mount Druitt For people wishing to pursue a career as a Renewable Energy Equipment installer. Entry requirements: There are no formal educational requirements, but to succeed you need the equivalent of four years of secondary school education. You must be in relevant employment or have access to an appropriate workplace. Career opportunity: Renewable Energy Equipment Installer. TAFE PLUS Statement in Restricted Electrical Work -- Disconnect/Reconnect Course No 17698 Training Pkg Electrotechnology Duration 9 weeks part-time Location Mount Druitt TAFE PLUS fee applies For eligible tradespeople wishing to disconnect and reconnect fixed wired electrical equipment which is incidental to or a primary and regular function of work related to a principle work function. Entry requirements: Participants must provide documentary evidence that they hold trade level qualifications related to maintaining, servicing and/or repairing relevant equipment for at least one of the endorsement categories recognised by the NSW O ce of Fair Trading. Documentary evidence can include an appropriate Craft Certificate, Tradesman's Right's Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency as issued by a state or federal department of employment and training. Participants must also show that carrying out restricted electrical work is a requirement of their job. A letter of support from the participant's employer, or equivalent, should be provided as proof of this requirement. Career opportunities: This course provides restricted electrical disconnection and reconnection skills to non-electrical trades people. TAFE PLUS Statement in SCADA -- Basic Course No Duration 9 weeks part-time Location Mount Druitt TAFE PLUS fee applies This course will enable participants to gain an overview of SCADA packages and systems. As part of the course participants will be exposed to the features and functionality of packages, discuss the applications of SCADA and the process of implementing SCADA systems. Statement of Attainment in (NRT) Welding to AS1796 Certification 1-9 Course No 17431 Training Pkg Metal and Engineering Industry Duration 18 weeks part-time Location Mount Druitt For experienced welders in the manufacture or repair of boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping or high quality welded applications. Meets the assessment requirements in the Australian Standards 1796- 2001(depending upon the 1-9 welding certificate undertaken) for certification to weld high quality applications on plain carbon and/or low alloy steel plate and pipe sections.
