It aims to provide the necessary skills and knowledge for people to work in the security industry as private investigators. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements. Career Opportunities: Investigator, Private Inquiry Agent, Surveillance Worker, Insurance Investigator. Certificate IV in (NRT) Security and Risk Management Course No: 4496 National Code: PRS40103 Duration: 18 weeks part-time Location: Blacktown Description: This course provides a pathway to achieve a qualification at level IV under the Asset Security Training Package. It provides you with the skills and knowledge to work in the security industry as Security Consultants, and provides the required qualification to train and assess "new entrant" security guards. Entry Requirements: NSW School Certificate of equivalent. Ideally potential students should possess as working knowledge of the Security Industry in order to obtain maximum benefit from the exercises undertaken in the classes. Career Opportunities: Security Consultants and/or as a Trainer/Assessor within the Asset Security Industry. This qualification, together with 5 years experience in the Security Industry, is the pre-requisite for award of a 2A or 2D Security licence. Certificate I in (NRT) Automotive Course No: 9001 National Code: AUR10105 Duration: 1 year part-time Location: Blacktown Description: With relevant industrial or simulated industrial experience this course provides trainees with the knowledge and skills needed to perform minor service and preparatory work in areas of the automotive industry. Entry Requirements: There are no formal educational requirements. You will need access to a simulated or industrial environment to gain su cient experience to achieve the standards required for specified units of competency in this course. Career Opportunities: Job or further study in the automotive industry. Steven Vella Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology -- Light Vehicle Mechanical Steven is a high achieving Automotive Apprentice. He completed the theoretical aspects of his apprenticeship quickly and excelled in his workplace, Heartland Holden. Steven has also undertaken further training through his employer, and won the Blacktown Automotive Skills Contest competition. "The learning I experienced at TAFE enabled me to successfully work as a productive and proactive technician within the Holden team. The practical training I experienced at Heartland Holden was solidified by my theoretical training at TAFE."
